Plant Enzyme and Probiotic Powder | Digestive Support

My cat has had a long standing problem with loose stools with no medical or dietary explanation. I found probiotics helped, but not completely. Decided to try Animal Essentials and within a week the problem was gone. I’m amazed!

My 16 year old has really started showing his age and his food drive went from always on the hunt for food to requiring to be hand fed. One week on this and his appetite is starting to return and he will eat most of his supper on his own.

FINALLY!!!!! Okay, this is a long story, so settle in. My cat is about 2 years old, but last August he started having diarrhea rather frequently. I took him to the vet a handful of times between then and now, and he kept losing weight until he was down to about 6.5 lbs (very undernourished for a cat -- his ribs and spine were very prominent, his fur was mangy, and he had very little energy). The vet had me try antibiotics twice, then a FortiFlora probiotic from Purina. He wanted to do a $300 test to see if my cat had EPI (a pancreatic disorder) but I'm very tight on funds. So he said he could potentially prescribe a pancreatic (animal-based) enzyme supplement for my cat. Only problem? It's like $50 a month, for the rest of his life -- so around $600 a year. Not really doable for a grad student making $11k a year for the next six years. But I was going to do it anyway. Except, when I called to schedule the appointment, I wound up catching the other vet and he suggested that I try a plant-based enzyme supplement instead -- these are much cheaper, and he said some cats do better with them. So that's why I ended up on Amazon buying this product. My cat has been on this for about 3 weeks, and I am SO happy to report that he is doing amazingly well. He's gained back some weight, has more energy, and his digestion seems to be much better. He used to go to the litter box every 30 minutes and come out with almost nothing and be very uncomfortable; now he goes once or twice a day and seems totally fine. To dispense this, I use about a quarter teaspoon of this for every 2 cups of cat hard food and that seems to be the right ratio. I combine this with blue buffalo's sensitive skin and stomach cat food (which is easier to digest) and my cat seems to do pretty well with digesting. He has gained back a little weight pretty rapidly (no more bones for the most part!) so I'm hoping that weight gain will continue. I'm guessing one bottle of this will probably last me two or three months at least. Only drawback is that he instantly gets diarrhea if he steals even a little bit of my roommate's cat's food (which isn't supplemented, obviously).

My poor 3 year old female Pit Bull has suffered with allergies, skin issues/infections, yeast, and bacteria for the better part of the last 2 years. I worked at a vet and till shad trouble getting her any relief and most things were just a temporary band-aid to the symptoms, not a fix. We did round after round of antibiotics, anti-fungal, antihistamines, mite treatments, diets, supplements, ear drops/ointments, shampoos, and sprays. Just before I tried this product I was giving her the highest max dose of Benadryl every single day. I started doing some research online and found that many people had dogs with similar issues found success by treating the immune system and problem from the inside out. My vet kept insisting that the root is probably a food allergy, but of course without expensive testing we couldn't be sure. Food trails at home didn't work well because we kept trying more and more premium foods with alternative ingredients and they aren't cheap. I have 4 dogs and go through 20 pounds of food a week. It is hard to feed different diets and there is no way I can keep my husband from giving them table scraps, it just won't happen. It got to where it didn't seem she felt any better on one food than another. So after finding this info online about adding probiotics and prebiotics being a super food. I decided to give it a try. Just three days after adding this powder along with a prebiotic there was a major improvement. Within a week I stopped giving her any antihistamines and still no issues. I couldn't believe it!!!! The itching, chewing, scratching, licking was all gone. I treated her ears with a topical ointment for a week after starting it and a week later after no ear treatment she is still fine. By now if we had just finished the vet recommended treatment she would already be showing signs of a flare up. Great product that did exactly what I wanted. Thank you!!!

So I originally got this for one of my dogs that was 8 years old at the time of starting this that was very gassy and also burping a lot after putting this in her morning wet food after about a month she wasn't gassy and barely burped anymore! Her stomach you don't hear gurgling anymore as well! Still to this day I give it to her every morning and I also give it to my other 3 dogs that are seniors as well and I feel like it's helped all of them with their poops! It's just a white soft powder that you add to their food I add it to their morning wet foot that mixes right in. All of them seem to like the taste and since it's powder dogs with tooth problems can have it no problem. I get the larger size of bottle and I give it to 4 dogs every morning and still only need to purchase it about every 5-6 months with giving the amount directed.

I’ve been giving my dog the plant enzymes for a few weeks now, and I’ve noticed a huge improvement in her digestion and overall energy. She used to have some tummy issues after meals, but those have all but disappeared. I love that it’s all-natural and gentle, and she actually enjoys taking it!
